Roald Dahl was famous for his characters – you will research some of his well-known characters and explore how he Roald Dahl made them interesting?
Activity 1:
Roald Dahl describes his characters with a lot of detail and imagination.
Watch the videos & make notes about each of the characters.

Activity 2-
Choose one character to play.
Four steps in transformation into a character:
1. Exploring - search out every angle of the character with the physical aspects.  E.g how does the character sit on chair, stand, walk etc.. observe their body language, gestures, stance.
2. Feeling - search out all feelings of the character.
3. Trying - rehearse and attempt to be the character.
4. Doing - actually perform the character in front of an audience.
Activity 3- Deadline June 25th
Record a short scene of you in Role as the character. 
You can choose a situation - this can be from the story or not (e.g ordering food from Mc Donalds)
You can work with a partner or by yourself. If you work with a partner, you must arrange your zoom meetings to practices and record your evidence.
